but there is a story behind the name, and this is some of it…

I used to live in a little village called Whittington in England.

An almost neighbour called Dan Brown, then aged twelve, had an imaginary friend he called Erik the Ninefish. Like many adolescents, Erik, was a personality on the verge of existence. This imaginary friend took on a life of its own, and what began as a joke grew into a subverse alter ego and imaginary friend for Adrian.

With the purpose of fostering better communication, we began our company in 1995.
Our eternal thanks go to Dan and Tom Waits without whom all of this would have been much more straight forward.
